Johnson's baby shampoo is designed for washing hair and dish washing soap is designed for washing dishes. These consumer products have ingredients that are problematic and have no business being between glass and window film.

WHAT C-BOND IS

C-Bond is a patented non-toxic, water based 'green' nanotechnology window film application solution designed to significantly increase glass strength, enhance glass flexibility and increase the adhesion of window film to glass products.

ABOUT C-BOND

HOW C-BOND WORKS

C-Bond Technology works as a "smart solution". It enables ordinary glass to dissipate energy by identifying random microscopic defects that are a natural part of every glass surface. C-Bond works to repair the identified surface imperfections that weaken the glass composite structure and ultimately act as failure initiators. C-Bond also improves the performance of window film products by significantly enhancing the adhesion of film-to-glass products, so that in case of impact, no large pieces will escape the immediate area of the glass surface resulting in serious laceration and/or life threatening injuries. TEST DATA

GLASS STRENGTH

Rice University and NanoRidge Materials Inc., both independent research laboratories in Houston, Texas, in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM C-1499). The C-Bond System has been certified to significantly increase the strength properties of glass.

HURRICANE

Miami-Dade Hurricane Testing Center, one of only two approved facilities for Hurricane testing in the United States, in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials. The C-Bond System has been validated to increase safety and protection levels in the event of severe windstorms.

BALLISTIC - LEVEL I

H.P White Laboratories, an independent certified research laboratory in Gaithersburg, Maryland in accordance with National Institute of Justice (NIJ-STD-Level I). The C-Bond System has been validated to protect against 22 LR and .38 special caliber munitions.

BALLISTIC - LEVEL IIA

H.P White Laboratories, an independent certified research laboratory in Gaithersburg, Maryland in accordance with National Institute of Justice (NIJ-STD-Level IIA). The C-Bond System has been validated to protect against 9mm and .357 Magnum caliber munitions.

FORCED ENTRY

Stork Laboratories, an independent certified research laboratory in Woburn, MA in accordance with Consumer Product & Safety Commission (CPSC 1201.4 Impact Test). The C-Bond System has been validated to protect against forced entry.

BOMB BLAST

ABS Consulting, an independent certified research laboratory in San Antonio, Texas, in accordance with U.S General Services Administration (ASTM F1642-04) and U.S General Services Administration (GSA TS01-2003). The C-Bond System has been validated to protect against the effects of improvised explosive devices.

 

The C-Bond System is the ONLY scientifically tested and commercially proven nanotechnology system to dramatically increase the strength, safety and protection levels of glass and window film products in occurrences of hurricane, bomb blast, forced entry and ballistic threat environments.
